Graduates of the Master’s Program in Nursing at Universidad de Las Américas are professionals with comprehensive scientific, technical, and humanistic training, capable of contributing to the resolution of complex health-related challenges. Graduates ground their professional practice in ethical principles and values, demonstrating a strong social commitment in addressing the needs of patients, families, and communities.
Furthermore, graduates are equipped to manage nursing activities within the framework of advanced practice, applying quality standards in healthcare service delivery. Graduates contribute to the generation of knowledge in nursing and public health by addressing priority and emerging issues, applying findings from both disciplinary and multidisciplinary research. In addition, graduates possess the competencies necessary to administer healthcare service units based on quality standards, ethical principles, and efficient resource management.
Ultimately, graduates are expected to remain engaged in the continuous advancement of scientific and technological knowledge, positioning themselves as leaders in the healthcare field. Graduates exhibit innovation, proactiveness, and a humanistic approach throughout their professional development and practice.
Demographic Data - provides information about student enrollment disaggregated by gender and ethnicity, offering insight into the demographic diversity within the program.
Student Completion - provides information about graduation rates and graduation rates disaggregated by gender calculated through the 2021–2022 academic year, based on cohorts of new, first-time students, regardless of enrollment in the program's daytime or evening instructional delivery (if applicable).
All programs utilize the Brightspace platform to collect and assess student work and to compile data and evidence of student achievement. The resulting outcomes and their analysis, which focus on identifying areas for improvement, are presented in the program’s assessment report.
