Graduates of the Master’s Program in Health Administration at Universidad de Las Américas are competent professionals with a global and critical perspective, committed to society and equipped with comprehensive training in the administration of public and private health institutions. Graduates are prepared to organize and coordinate multidisciplinary areas within health institutions through an integrated management approach that incorporates ethical, administrative, financial, health-related, social, legal, and technical considerations.
Furthermore, graduates formulate organizational management strategies tailored to the specific needs of both public and private health institutions. Graduates analyze the healthcare sector to develop projects aimed at improving the performance of public and private organizations, aligning these initiatives with institutional objectives and current regulatory frameworks. In addition, graduates manage quality across planning, regulatory, and healthcare service organizations. Graduates also plan, coordinate, and administer resources in public and private institutions, taking into account the needs of the population.
Ultimately, graduates are expected to lead multidisciplinary teams with integrity and to uphold ethical conduct in professional practice. Graduates demonstrate honesty, solidarity, respect, justice, tolerance, and responsibility, acting as principled professionals in the service of institutional and societal well-being.
Demographic Data - provides information about student enrollment disaggregated by gender and ethnicity, offering insight into the demographic diversity within the program.
Student Completion - provides information about graduation rates and graduation rates disaggregated by gender calculated through the 2021–2022 academic year, based on cohorts of new, first-time students, regardless of enrollment in the program's daytime or evening instructional delivery (if applicable).
All programs utilize the Brightspace platform to collect and assess student work and to compile data and evidence of student achievement. The resulting outcomes and their analysis, which focus on identifying areas for improvement, are presented in the program’s assessment report.
