Graduates of the Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology at Universidad de Las Américas are highly qualified, competent, and enterprising professionals with an international-global vision. Graduates possess essential competencies in the field of mental health, enabling them to practice their profession with ethical responsibility. As agents of change in both the public and private sectors, graduates promote clinical practices that foster the comprehensive development and well-being of individuals, families, and society from an intercultural perspective.
Furthermore, graduates are equipped to address psychological problems at the individual, group, and community levels by applying theoretical and practical knowledge in mental health and clinical psychology. Graduates analyze and explain how biological, behavioral, and social factors influence human functioning and psychopathology, incorporating a human rights and gender-based approach. Graduates demonstrate well-developed therapeutic aptitude and interpersonal competencies for the intervention and supervision of clinical cases and are able to design psychological counseling and intervention processes grounded in contemporary psychotherapeutic models. Additionally, graduates conduct research projects to evaluate and monitor therapeutic processes through collaborative work, employing critical thinking and ethical responsibility.
Ultimately, graduates are expected to work with creativity, initiative, and accountability in the evaluation and innovation of psychological interventions and research. Graduates act in accordance with the current legal framework and the ethical principles and values of the field of psychology. Additionally, graduates are equipped to lead transdisciplinary teams in national and international contexts, thereby contributing to the advancement of the field of psychology and promoting mental health in society.

Student Completion - provides information about graduation rates and graduation rates disaggregated by gender calculated through the 2021–2022 academic year, based on cohorts of new, first-time students, regardless of enrollment in the program's daytime or evening instructional delivery (if applicable).
All programs utilize the Brightspace platform to collect and assess student work and to compile data and evidence of student achievement. The resulting outcomes and their analysis, which focus on identifying areas for improvement, are presented in the program’s assessment report.
