Graduates of the Endodontics Specialization program at Universidad de Las Américas are highly qualified, socially committed professionals with an international-global vision, guided by principles of excellence and ethical values. Graduates possess advanced competencies in the field of endodontics, enabling them to prevent, diagnose, and treat endodontic and periapical health conditions through a multidisciplinary approach that ensures comprehensive and high-quality dental care.
Furthermore, graduates integrate theoretical and practical knowledge to assess oral health conditions and classify pathological processes of the dental pulp and periapical tissues, grounding diagnoses in scientific and technical evidence. Graduates apply the most advanced techniques for root canal instrumentation and obturation, acquiring the skills and precision needed to prevent, detect, and treat complications requiring specialized care. In addition, graduates plan and carry out endodontic treatments to restore oral health, masticatory function, esthetics, and overall well-being.
Ultimately, graduates are expected to respond effectively to the evolving demands of the specialty within a framework of strong ethical principles, honesty, and social responsibility. With their social and entrepreneurial vision, graduates are prepared to practice in hospitals, clinics, and public or private dental offices dedicated to this field.
