Graduates of the Neurology Specialization program at Universidad de Las Américas are highly qualified, ethically driven specialists with a holistic professional formation and a strong commitment to society. Graduates contribute to the advancement of the field through clinical research grounded in the best available scientific evidence.
Graduates are prepared to implement clinical care models for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with disorders affecting the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems. Graduates select clinical, pharmacological, therapeutic, or invasive treatments based on extensive clinical knowledge, cost-benefit analysis, and scientifically validated evidence. In addition, graduates engage in research focused on prevalent diseases within the field of neurology and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Ultimately, graduates are expected to demonstrate sound clinical judgment and professional commitment in hospital management within both public and private healthcare settings. Graduates are also expected to remain continuously updated in the medical-scientific field and to contribute to the early detection of neurological disorders, patient care, and effective treatment, while minimizing potential complications or comorbidities.

Student Completion - provides information about graduation rates and graduation rates disaggregated by gender calculated through the 2021–2022 academic year, based on cohorts of new, first-time students, regardless of enrollment in the program's daytime or evening instructional delivery (if applicable).
All programs utilize the Brightspace platform to collect and assess student work and to compile data and evidence of student achievement. The resulting outcomes and their analysis, which focus on identifying areas for improvement, are presented in the program’s assessment report.
