Graduates of the Critical Care Nursing Specialization program at Universidad de Las Américas are highly qualified professionals with a holistic academic background, who practice ethically and demonstrate a strong commitment to society by contributing research grounded in scientific evidence. Graduates possess the theoretical and practical competencies required to deliver agile and timely care to critically ill patients through strategic decision-making and the implementation of nursing interventions aligned with the care process.
Furthermore, graduates actively contribute to the revision and updating of standards, protocols, regulations, and procedures in hospital committees, supporting the continuous improvement of patient care. Graduates are equipped to manage intensive care and emergency units based on principles of quality and resource optimization. Graduates also conduct applied research on priority issues within the field and design continuing education programs for the management of critically ill patients, using innovative teaching and learning strategies.

Student Completion - provides information about graduation rates and graduation rates disaggregated by gender calculated through the 2021–2022 academic year, based on cohorts of new, first-time students, regardless of enrollment in the program's daytime or evening instructional delivery (if applicable).
