Graduates of the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialization program at Universidad de Las Américas are highly qualified, competent, and enterprising professionals with an international-global vision. Graduates possess the knowledge and skills required to deliver timely and appropriate care with sensitivity and empathy toward patients, their families, and the wider community.
Furthermore, graduates are trained to treat reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery conditions affecting human anatomy, always in compliance with current legal regulations. Graduates apply theoretical and practical knowledge in managing skin coverage conditions, trauma, congenital malformations, and aesthetic needs. Graduates also design treatment plans for clinical or aesthetic conditions based on established diagnoses and address complex cases through interdisciplinary collaboration with other medical specialties. In addition, graduates conduct research to contribute to the scientific knowledge of the specialty and consistently demonstrate ethical behavior and assertive communication in interactions with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ultimately, graduates are expected to participate in multidisciplinary teams in national and international contexts, acting with ethics, creativity, proactiveness, innovation, and responsibility. Graduates respect the legal framework, serve the needs of society, and are committed to national development.

Student Completion - provides information about graduation rates and graduation rates disaggregated by gender calculated through the 2021–2022 academic year, based on cohorts of new, first-time students, regardless of enrollment in the program's daytime or evening instructional delivery (if applicable).
All programs utilize the Brightspace platform to collect and assess student work and to compile data and evidence of student achievement. The resulting outcomes and their analysis, which focus on identifying areas for improvement, are presented in the program’s assessment report.
